PICS: Céline Dion’s Paris residency: Every iconic outfit so far

Following her 2022 diagnosis with stiff-person syndrome, Céline Dion has returned to the stage with a 26-night residency at the Plénitude Arena in Nanterre, France.

But her legendary vocals aren't the only thing commanding attention; from sculptural Dior gowns to edgy Loewe leather, the iconic singer is turning every performance and street appearance into a masterclass in high fashion.

The 58-year-old singer has stepped out in a series of glamorous looks from some of the biggest names in luxury fashion, including Dior, Schiaparelli, Givenchy, Tom Ford, Alaïa, Louis Vuitton and Loewe.

From dramatic gowns and sparkling embellishments to structured tailoring and bold leather pieces, Dion has embraced the opportunity to make every appearance a fashion moment.

And it’s not just her concert wardrobe that has caught our attention because away from the stage, the Queen of Power Ballads has continued to turn the streets of Paris into her very own runway.

Here are some of our favourite looks Dion has served up so far:

Dior drama: A gown fit for the stage

For the opening night of her residency, Dion arrived in true diva fashion wearing a strapless black Dior gown.

The dramatic dress featured voluminous, structured pleating that gave the silhouette a sculptural finish, creating a statement look that was perfectly suited to the occasion.

She completed the ensemble with a dazzling diamond necklace from Boucheron, adding just the right amount of sparkle to the sophisticated black gown.

Schiaparelli with a touch of gold

Dion also proved that she is not afraid of a little colour with a striking black ensemble from Schiaparelli’s archives.

The statement jacket featured intricate gold detailing and strategically placed cut-outs, giving the classic silhouette a more dramatic and contemporary feel.

The gold detailing was not the only striking feature of the look as the bodysuit also had matching crystal flower bouquets. She wore the jacket with matching high-waisted pants.

Pretty in pink with Givenchy

For another night of her residency, Dion opted for a look that was impossible to miss as she stepped out in a dramatic fuzzy pink cape by Givenchy, made from shredded organza that created a soft yet extravagant texture.

The oversized cape was already a statement on its own, but the real fashion moment was what Dion wore underneath.

Peeking through was a sparkling silver embroidered dress, allowing the metallic detailing to shine through the voluminous pink outer layer.

Tom Ford turns up the sparkle

Dion brought some serious sparkle to the stage in a black Tom Ford gown that featured a long sleeves with shimmering embellishments and a daring high-cut slit, giving the classic black gown a much more sultry edge.

The combination of the floor-length silhouette, long sleeves and dramatic slit created a balance between elegance and glamour.

Alaïa’s sculptural silhouette

Dion continued her run of statement-making looks in Alaïa as she wore a sculptural black leather bustier with a curved neckline that flowed into a velvet mermaid skirt.

The combination of leather and velvet gave the outfit plenty of texture, while the fitted silhouette created a dramatic shape.

She finished the look with a chunky wrap-around bracelet, keeping the accessories bold but understated enough to let the outfit do the talking.

Louis Vuitton and the mini dress moment

Dion also brought a little fun to her residency wardrobe with a black satin bustier minidress from Louis Vuitton.

The dress featured asymmetrical pleated folds across the skirt, along with playful bows at the hips. A dramatic train cascaded down one side of the dress and onto the floor, adding a touch of evening glamour to the shorter silhouette.

She paired the minidress with a structured wool jacket featuring rounded shoulders.

Loewe leather makes a statement

Before taking to the stage, Dion was spotted outside her hotel singing for fans and naturally, she did so in another head-turning ensemble.

The singer wore an asymmetrical leather gown from Loewe featuring an elevated neckline and sculpted leather bodice.

Another leather moment with Givenchy

Dion wasn’t quite finished with leather because she stepped out in another Givenchy creation, this time wearing a striking blue leather ensemble.

The look featured a draped high-neck top paired with a matching midi leather skirt. The skirt was finished with a bold front slit, adding movement and a touch of edge to the otherwise polished outfit.
