PICS: How Cardi B and Olandria Carthen took over Milan Fashion Week

From September 22 to 28, Milan Fashion Week turned the Italian style capital into a high-octane runway, and the front row delivered non-stop drama.

Leading the charge, rapper Cardi B and Love Island favourite Olandria Carthen completely stole the spotlight across the week. From wild animal prints and dramatic faux fur to rebellious cuts, the duo proved that playing it safe is never an option.

Cardi B brings the drama

Cardi B made a fierce statement at the Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2027 show, stepping out in a custom tiger-print gown that was all about drama.

The figure-hugging design featured a voluminous faux-fur trim framing the collar, sleeves and hem, giving the look plenty of old-school Cavalli glamour. 

She cinched the silhouette with a structured corset bodice and completed the look with matching leopard-print stiletto pumps and oversized sunglasses.

At the Off-White Imaginary Palace event, the Bodak Yellow rapper opted for a more understated approach, stepping out in a sleek, figure-hugging black dress that highlighted her silhouette.

She kept the rest of the look equally streamlined, pairing the dress with black heels for a chic, monochromatic finish.

She added an edgy touch with a classic blunt-bang hairstyle, giving the otherwise minimalist ensemble a little more attitude. The sleek fringe framed her face and added a distinctly retro-inspired edge.

She later brought a touch of old-school glamour to the Gucci fashion show, arriving in a striking white faux-fur coat layered over a black bodysuit and sheer monogram Gucci black tights with black heels.

The contrast between the plush white coat and the all-black base created a sophisticated yet sultry look, while her black heels tied the ensemble together.

The rapper swapped her long hair for a short black pixie with blunt bangs and paired the hair with a dark plum lip.

Attending The Attico's fashion show, Cardi B stunned in an all-pink outfit and wore a blush pink dress that features bandage-style detailing on the sides of the dress.

She paired the dress with an oversized fluffy cropped jacket, sunglasses and a pair of white sheer heels. For her hair, she kept things simple and styled it in a sculptural ponytail.

Olandria Carthen serves edgy glamour

Meanwhile, “Love Island” star Olandria Carthen brought her own dose of edge to the Roberto Cavalli show.

She turned heads in an asymmetric black, white and brown gown covered in a distressed texture, adding dramatic silver hoop earrings for an extra statement.

Her striking mullet hairstyle looked like a rebellious twist, while matching grey open-toe heels completed the ensemble.

But Carthen wasn’t done making her mark on Milan Fashion Week because the reality TV star also attended Off-White’s “10x10 Imaginary Palace” presentation, where she swapped Cavalli’s dark glamour for a graphic blue-and-black ensemble.

She wore a long-sleeved top featuring concentric detailing, styling it with sheer black tights and sleek black heels. The result was a more streamlined but equally eye-catching look.

At Blumarine, Carthen embraced a more maximalist approach, stepping out in a dramatic black-and-white patterned furry coat from the brand’s FW26 collection. 

The voluminous statement piece was contrasted with a sleek black bodysuit and sheer tights, allowing the outerwear to command attention.

She accessorised with layers of chunky gold jewellery, pairing a bold necklace with statement rings and bangles.

For her make-up, Carthen kept it pretty simple and went for a nude look.
